“Let someone know”.

Portuguese equivalent: “Contar a alguém/ avisar alguém”.

Sample sentences:

“Please let me know when the cabin is ready for takeoff”.

“The captain asked me to let him know when the cabin was ready for takeoff”.

“Are we ready for takeoff? Ok, so let the controller know“.
